- Understanding and navigating the relevant codes and legislation that govern the associated procedures and methodologies effectively will be key to being able to perform this role well.
- Work will typically include digging into the detail of how regulation can affect grid, including problem solving to help different teams in the business better manage projects; lobbying externally to improve contractual positions with network operators; and internal education to ensure the business understands the complex and everchanging world of connections (present focus is the reform and its associated transition).
What you’ll bring:
- You’ll be degree educated and/or have extensive experience working in the electricity industry which may have been from a commercial or engineering focus - with the ability to work in either.
- Proven experience working with codes and/or licences and/or grid agreements/contracts is essential, including the ability to navigate, interpret and respond to complex documents such as consultations covering technical industry reform.
