What you'll be doing
- The Senior Interface Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining critical interfaces between real-time operational systems and business applications, ensuring high levels of system availability, reliability, and performance.
- The role provides technical expertise, supports incident resolution, and works collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain business continuity.
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and integrity of the CSS Interfaces suite, ensuring reliable 24/7 service.
- Provide technical support to Operational Support Engineers and key business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Cyber Security teams to ensure interface-related changes, developments, and vulnerabilities are managed effectively.
- Support Control Centre operations, including fault resolution, maintenance activities, and system enhancements.
- Maintain business-critical systems, including system monitoring, upgrades, repairs, access control, and documentation.
- Ensure interface solutions comply with company policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, backup plans, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to improve reliability.
- Liaise with internal customers and third-party support providers to resolve issues and support service delivery.
- Contribute to reporting and data analysis activities using system data, scripts, and reporting tools.
- Support user training and knowledge sharing across the business.
What you'll bring

As a minimum, you will demonstrate:
- HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong IT systems knowledge.
- Good understanding of system interfaces and integrations.
- Proven experience in a relevant technical or operational support environment.
