The business now requires an experienced and suitably qualified Auditor to carry out audits across multiple disciplines for Licence Programmes to mitigate risk and improve overall Quality and performance of core work activities such as Jointing, Maintenance, OHL and Rising Mains.
What you'll be doing:
- The prospective candidate will continue to develop and manage Licence Programmes Audit Strategy and Annual Audit plan - Implementing an agile approach which can be flexed and adapted based on incidents and issues encountered throughout the year and providing senior management with a clear understanding of risk and proposed mitigations.
- Provide support and advice to project and office-based staff to achieve compliance with internal and external Quality management systems and industry best practices.
- Manage and complete Quality monitoring and inspection programs to effectively document operational performance, compliance and prepare timely reports required for both internal and external distribution.
- Support project team and/or business SMEs to identify and solve Quality non-conformities, manage incidents and follow up.
- Control of suppliers and contractors. Resolving site issues where possible.
- Ensure all relevant Quality documentation is included in the project final file received from the contractors.
- Develop and deliver Quality System training and awareness initiatives across key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement new guidance, techniques and practices to improve Quality performance.
- Promote Lessons Learned initiative throughout the business.
- Develop and maintain Quality Procedures to identify and respond to emerging legislation relevant to activities.
- Provide support and advice to Licence Programmes, engineering and construction staff to achieve compliance with internal and external Quality management systems and project requirements.
- Help maintain and improve company's internal Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 certification).
- Capture and report on the audit outcome findings and identify underlying causes and trends.

- Minimum certified internal Auditor for Quality.
- Recently been active in performing audit on a routine basis.
- Applies a range of appropriate Quality models and frameworks.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of ethics and integrity.
- Maintains effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Manages and resolves conflict.
- Explains and applies internal controls and a range of frameworks.
- Trains and advises others on SPEN's control model used (Policies and Procedures).
- Applies sampling, data analysis and other statistical techniques to analyse and assess data.
- Identifies and supports the introduction of corrective and preventive actions.
