We're looking for a Change Manager to play a key role in ensuring technology and operational change is delivered in a controlled, effective, and risk-aware way. This position is central to maintaining service stability while enabling the successful delivery of business and technical change across a complex environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end change process, coordinating activities from initial submission and risk assessment through to authorisation, scheduling, implementation, validation, and post-implementation review.
  • Work closely with technical, operational, project, and supplier teams to ensure changes are assessed appropriately, governed effectively, and delivered with minimal disruption to services.
  • Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) governance, prepare high-quality information to support decision making, facilitate reviews, and ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Maintain the forward schedule of change, identify potential conflicts or high-risk periods, coordinate communications, and elevate risks that could impact service continuity.
  • Drive continual improvement by aligning Change Management practices with wider ITIL disciplines including release, incident, problem, and configuration management.
  • Develop governance controls, reporting frameworks, and performance measures that support informed decision making and regulatory compliance.
  • Produce meaningful management information and insights through governance reporting and KPI analysis, including monitoring change success rates, failures, emergency changes, rollbacks, compliance levels, lead times, and service impacts.
  • Using Power BI, develop and enhance dashboards, analyse data from multiple sources, and help maintain the accuracy of change and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records.

What you’ll bring

  • A structured and analytical professional with experience operating or governing an end-to-end Change Management or ITIL Change Enablement process within a live operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles, change governance, risk assessment, CAB management, emergency change processes, and post-implementation reviews.
  • The ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, challenge constructively, and influence positive outcomes.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, process documentation, performance reporting, and continual improvement plans.
  • Practical experience with Power BI, data analysis, dashboard development, and data modelling; knowledge of Power Query and DAX would be beneficial.
  • Experience within a regulated, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, or similarly complex operational environment would be advantageous.

This is an opportunity to shape and enhance change practices while working with a wide range of stakeholders to improve service resilience, delivery quality, and operational performance.
