Job Info- Position - Union: Utility Worker II – Transitional - TEMP
- Number of Positions: 1
- Location: RG&E - NY – Filmore, NY
- Hourly Rate: $22.91
- Safely and effectively perform gas and electric tasks including but not limited to turn-on, turn-off, obtaining meter reads, and meter exchanges.
- Safely and effectively work field collections including in-person customer collections, notice delivery, disconnect for non-payment, and reconnect after disconnection.
- Report hazardous conditions, meter tampering, and meter conditions.
- Timely completion of assignments.
- Assist in ensuring data integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety policies and practices.
- Maintain current meter location records and maps.
- Proper care and maintenance of all assigned company equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions including heat/cold, rain and snow.
- Must be willing to work extra hours as required, including storm work.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, and audiogram.
- Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents.
