About the Programme
Our 2026 Summer Placement Programme runs for 10 weeks, beginning Monday 1st June 2026. Please note, the start date is fixed with no flexibility. This is a paid placement with a salary of £25,950 pro rata. During your placement, you’ll work on projects, support day-to-day team activities and have the opportunity to add value from day one. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the business and take part in events, networking opportunities and development activities designed to enhance your experience.
Minimum criteria
- To be considered for this Summer Placement, you must be a current university student (undergraduate) between years 1-3.
- Studying one of the following relevant degree areas (or equivalent): IT, Computer Science.
- You must also be available to start on 1st June 2026 and complete the full 10 week programme.
- Bring enthusiasm, curiosity, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to team goals.
Location
Roles will be based in our ScottishPower HQ in Glasgow City Centre. Hybrid working may be available depending on the role.
