Purpose

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Community Benefits team to deliver the company’s Community Benefits framework, worth over £100m over the next five years, you will assist key business leads to identify and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Being responsible for development and implementation of robust processes to embed Community Benefits framework into the business, you will bring consistency of approach across business areas in respect of community engagement.
  • Managing data and reporting, which ensure impact can be measured, you will be responsible for stakeholder communications, including newsletters, e-bulletins and relevant webpages relating to Community Benefits which are used to improve perceptions of the company amongst key stakeholder groups.
  • Supporting development and delivery of public information campaigns, which improve recognition, understanding and reputation of the company and understanding of Community Benefits, you will manage your own workload to update key stakeholder documents, including database and engagement plans, which are annually assured.
  • Managing own workload to prepare professionally designed presentations to be used across organisation, within specified branding guidelines, as required, you will also sit on, and lead relevant internal working groups for area, negotiating with external market research, creative and communications teams to devise plans for new work and to monitor delivery against business requirements.
What you’ll bring

Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), you will possess proven experience within Marketing or Communications, ideally within a regulated industry, with a strong understanding of the UK utilities market, stakeholder mapping and two-way communications strategies. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools, being able to demonstrate your ability to manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines.
