This role focuses on delivering functional expertise, supporting key business applications and helping to ensure they run smoothly, reliably and in line with agreed SLAs. You’ll play an important part in configuring and maintaining application solutions, carrying out testing and supporting the delivery of enhancements that meet real business needs.***What you’ll be doing***Working closely with sponsors and colleagues across IT, you’ll help shape application requirements and contribute to developing practical, effective solutions. You’ll take ownership of your assigned tasks, monitor progress and raise risks or issues when needed. Day-to-day, you’ll configure or develop application components from clear design specifications, carry out unit and integration testing and support regular releases by turning business requests into delivered functionality.You’ll also play a key role in third‐line application support, helping investigate and resolve issues while ensuring new features or updates are smoothly transitioned into the production environment. Producing accurate documentation and sharing knowledge with operational teams will be an important part of how you support long‐term stability. While you won’t be expected to design complex integrations or lead architectural work, you’ll be working with experienced colleagues and third parties to ensure solutions and support activity stay on track and aligned with wider IT standards.***What you’ll bring***To thrive in this role, you’ll bring experience in application development or configuration and a genuine interest in building your technical knowledge.
