Role Overview

This role focuses on delivering functional expertise, supporting key business applications and ensuring they run smoothly, reliably and in line with agreed SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with sponsors, IT and business stakeholders to elicit requirements and design effective application solutions.
- Own assigned tasks: monitor progress, raise risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- Configure or develop application components based on clear design specifications, perform unit and integration testing, and support regular releases by turning business requests into delivered functionality.
- Provide third‑line application support: investigate and resolve issues, ensuring smooth transition of new features or updates into production.
- Produce accurate documentation and share knowledge with operational teams to support long‑term stability.
- Work with experienced colleagues and third parties to keep solutions and support activities on track and aligned with wider IT standards.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in application development or configuration and a genuine interest in building technical knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, good organisation and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders, approaching challenges with a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Experience in project delivery environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and develop as part of a collaborative hybrid team.
