The Offshore Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all maintenance and operational activities on the East Anglia 3 offshore windfarm during rotational periods aboard the Service Operations Vessel (SOV). Working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off basis in a back-to-back arrangement, this role acts as ScottishPower’s primary offshore representative, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of work scopes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily coordination meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the maintenance management system.
  • Managing defect registers.
  • Overseeing offshore logistics and stock control.
  • Ensuring clear communication with onshore teams to maintain asset integrity, statutory compliance, and maximise availability.
  • Providing support across the EA Hub when required by the business.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will lead daily planning and coordination activities offshore, including morning briefings and SOV‐based meetings to prioritise work scopes and manage simultaneous operations. You will oversee the planning and execution of critical work across WTGs, Balance of Plant, offshore substations, onshore substations and major projects. You’ll ensure all work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard while providing real‐time support to resolve access issues, crane limitations and logistical challenges. You will also collaborate closely with planners across the wider EA Hub to ensure alignment and consistency of maintenance plans.

You will manage offshore maintenance administration by controlling work requests, maintaining access registers and overseeing the permit‐to‐work process. This includes scheduling and tracking work orders in SAP, managing defect registers, analysing maintenance data, and producing accurate performance reports. You’ll support operational delivery by preparing work packs, reviewing RAMS and coordinating spare parts, tools and materials with both offshore teams and onshore warehouse operations. Maintaining clear communication with site management, you’ll provide timely updates on progress, issues, defects and risks throughout each rotation.

A key part of the role involves supporting compliance, continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives across offshore operations. You will ensure all works follow approved RAMS, contribute to developing procedures, support audits and inspections, and help identify serial defects and corrective actions. You’ll maintain and administer SAP offshore, assist with Power BI and automation tools, and ensure dangerous goods and documentation are correctly handled when required. Additional responsibilities include supporting training and competency development as well as assisting with ad‐hoc tasks and projects that improve safety, efficiency and operational excellence across the windfarm.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to plan and prioritise multiple offshore work scopes and manage simultaneous operations.
  • Strong understanding of offshore logistics and vessel operations (SOV/CTV coordination, port calls, craning).
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and digital tools (Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills to influence contractors and lead offshore teams.
  • Competence in inventory and stock control aboard offshore vessels.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to challenging offshore conditions.
  • Knowledge of offshore safety standards and compliance requirements (GWO BST, OGUK Medical, permit-to-work systems).
  • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams.
