The Lead Asset Data Performance and Reporting Analyst will report into the Network Outputs Measures Manager within the Asset Data, Process & Integrity team and be responsible for collating and preparing reporting content on productivity and performance as it relates to Asset Data as well as the development of Asset Data and Integrity reporting suites. The Lead Asset Data Performance and Reporting Analyst will have line management responsibilities, leading a small team within the Network Data and Intelligence team.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing Reporting Strategy: Responsible for formulating a comprehensive reporting strategy to ensure the Asset Data Process & Integrity (ADP&I) function meets all regulatory and organisational obligations.
- Tracking Digitisation Completion: Accountable for developing detailed reports to monitor the progress of digitisation activity against the regulatory period business plan.
- Asset Data Process Reporting: Oversee all aspects of Asset Data Process reporting, including the creation and maintenance of PowerBI reports, extraction of data from corporate systems, and implementation of automation processes to streamline reporting activities.
- Asset Data Integrity Reporting: Manage all reporting related to Asset Data Integrity, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of PowerBI reports, corporate system data extracts, and automated reporting solutions to support data quality and integrity.
- Performance Statistics Reporting: Responsible for compiling and analysing performance statistics for Asset Data Processes, including the generation of PowerBI reports and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both internal teams and third-party delivery partners.
- Collating and Preparing Information: Collaborate closely with various business units to gather and prepare information necessary to evaluate the overall performance of SPD, SPM, and SPT license businesses against regulatory contracts.
- Enhancing Analytical Capabilities: Support the development of advanced analytical capabilities by leveraging new and innovative software solutions. Identifying opportunities for value-added initiatives.
- Presentation and Information Requests: Provide assistance in preparing presentations and responding to information requests from both internal and external stakeholders. This involves synthesising complex data into clear, actionable insights and ensuring effective communication.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including SPEN staff and management teams across all business areas. Establish effective working relationships to facilitate collaboration and drive organisational success.
What you’ll bring
- Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or equivalent business experience in business analytics and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed analysis, comprehensive reports, and impactful presentations for senior management. Possesses strong numerical articulation and meticulous attention to detail.
- Expert knowledge of corporate enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to devise effective solutions to complex problems and challenges. This involves consulting with various business stakeholders, resolving differences, and presenting a unified, agreed-upon perspective.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills, communicating objectives and delivering projects with multiple milestones.
- Extensive expertise in data visualisation and analytical tools, including PowerBI and Azure Synapse.
- Ability to provide leadership to your team and manage workloads effectively.
