Job Summary
Position: Applications Analyst.
Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Job ID: R-25692.
Contract: Permanent, Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week).
Salary: £42,000–£52,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with sponsors and IT colleagues to shape application requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Configure or develop application components from design specifications, carry out unit and integration testing, and support regular releases.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, monitor progress, and raise risks or issues as needed.
- Provide third‑line application support, investigate and resolve issues, and ensure new features or updates are smoothly transitioned to production.
- Produce accurate documentation and share knowledge with operational teams to support long‑term stability.
Qualifications
- Experience in application development or configuration.
- Strong communication skills and good organisational ability.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a busy environment.
- Comfortable working with technical teams and business stakeholders; practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Experience in project delivery environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and develop as part of a collaborative hybrid team.
