Job Summary

Position: Applications Analyst.
Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Job ID: R-25692.
Contract: Permanent, Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week).
Salary: £42,000–£52,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sponsors and IT colleagues to shape application requirements and develop practical solutions.
  • Configure or develop application components from design specifications, carry out unit and integration testing, and support regular releases.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, monitor progress, and raise risks or issues as needed.
  • Provide third‑line application support, investigate and resolve issues, and ensure new features or updates are smoothly transitioned to production.
  • Produce accurate documentation and share knowledge with operational teams to support long‑term stability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in application development or configuration.
  • Strong communication skills and good organisational ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a busy environment.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and business stakeholders; practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Experience in project delivery environments is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and develop as part of a collaborative hybrid team.
