Join our Lanarkshire district team, where you’ll play a key role in planning and designing our distribution network to ensure its security, integrity, and long-term performance.

As a Customer Outage Prevet Officer, you’ll deliver excellent customer service while supporting planning and outage preparation processes across the district. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory standards and help maintain the reliability of our electricity distribution network.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertaking prevets of customers prior to planned outages to ensure compliance with the outage process
  • Ensuring compliance with GS4 standards for planned outages
  • Supporting and engaging with customer service improvements across the district
  • Assisting in the management and resolution of general customer enquiries
  • Providing business support for a range of activities related to customer service and design
  • Delivering excellent customer service and promoting high standards across the district
  • Demonstrating and promoting exemplary safety behaviours in all activities

What you’ll bring:

  • You’ll have experience in a Customer Service role, with a strong track record of delivering high levels of service and solving problems effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder and customer engagement skills (desirable)
  • Knowledge of SPEN customer service processes and procedures (desirable)
  • Understanding of the SPEN network and customer feeding arrangements (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and prioritisation
  • Experience with the customer prevet process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service environment/role
  • Relevant electricity network knowledge (desirable)
  • Strong computer literacy
  • A current UK driving licence
