Our Technical Training team supports apprentices, experienced employees, and contractors across the business, ensuring they have the competence, confidence, and capability to work safely and effectively in the electricity supply industry. What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver high-quality training across a range of craft disciplines
- Support technical training needs analysis across the business
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate training plans for internal and external customers
- Support product and technique development for operational teams
- Contribute to the design and delivery of operational safety programmes
- Ensure training meets business requirements and all Health & Safety legislation
- Continuously monitor and review training methods for quality and compliance
- Ensure learning objectives are achieved through effective training solutions
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of one of our craft disciplines, OHL, Jointing, Fitting or Electrical
- Working understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Understanding of engineering standards, specifications, and working practices
- Knowledge of company electrical safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Confidence delivering technical and craft training to diverse audiences
Minimum Requirements:
- A completed craft apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Level II or equivalent electrical qualification
- Experience as a recognised craftsperson (e.g., jointer, fitter, linesman)
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- LV network knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
