What you’ll be doing
- Reviewing, drafting, and managing IT supplier contracts including SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, hardware, and managed services.
- Managing contract renewals, terminations, variations, and maintaining accurate contract records and documentation.
- Tracking key dates, deliverables, obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance.
- Supporting vendor onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing governance activities.
- Working closely with IT, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external suppliers to ensure contract clarity and compliance.
- Analysing proposals, pricing models, commercial terms, and identifying opportunities for negotiation, optimisation, or cost savings.
- Reviewing invoices to ensure alignment with contractual terms and accurate billing.
- Identifying and escalating contractual, commercial, compliance, and data protection risks.
- Supporting negotiations on renewals, pricing, service levels, and contractual improvements.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of contract processes, tools, and documentation.
- Providing contract information for audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
What you’ll bring
- Experience working with IT contracts such as SaaS, licensing, cloud, or managed service agreements.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, SLAs, KPIs, renewals, and supplier performance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contract documentation.
- Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to challenge suppliers constructively.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach, able to work across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Minimum criteria
- Experience in contract analysis, vendor management, procurement, or similar commercial role.
- Knowledge of IT contract structures and terminology.
- Ability to understand and interpret commercial and legal documents.
- Strong analytical ability, with confidence reviewing pricing, terms, and documentation.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Law, or related field.
