The Senior Joint Venture (JV) Account Manager is a pivotal role within the UK Offshore Renewables Business, reporting to the EA Hub Asset Manager. This position is to assist the EA Hub Asset Manager to manage intercompany agreements with JVs ensuring the fulfilment of contract obligations as a Service Provider. They will be a key contact for JV partners and will assist in the associated governance processes for the operational assets. Working closely with the rest of the Operations and Maintenance team to ensure they are aware of all key activities within the operational windfarms ensuring this is correctly messaged to JV partners. The role also involves managing the contractual and commercial risks, seeking opportunities to enhance intercompany contract performance, and collaborating closely with teams from Construction, Operations, Legal, Insurance and Finance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in ensuring all reporting obligations for JV partners and boards are met (operational updates, HSEQ, performance and financial reporting).
  • Hold regular business update meetings with the JV partner and address any queries.
  • Assist in preparing the annual operational budget for board approvals and any ad hoc increases.
  • Daily interface with site team to understand the key activities within the windfarm.
  • Understand the HSEQ strategy that has been defined by site team and oversee delivery of initiatives through to completion. Report feedback to partners.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders and responsible to improve cross department relationships.
  • Steering projects to improve performance and reduce CAPEX/OPEX.
  • Provide proactively recommendations and advice on management of intercompany agreements.
  • Provide to the O&M management team analysis regarding benchmark and operational results.
  • Managing claims and contract variations from partners.
  • Work with the rest of the Asset Management Team to ensure that comprehensive analysis of all financial and non-financial business performance can be prepared and communicated both internally and externally.
  • Requirement for travel around UK & other European destinations to attend meetings and visit sites.

What you’ll bring

  • Degree level qualification or experienced Asset Manager with a demonstrated history of working within JV and Asset Management in the renewables sector (other relevant experience will be considered).
  • High level of commercial awareness with a good understanding of the renewables business.
  • Detailed knowledge of renewables projects economics and financing requirements.
  • Ability to combine professional and commercial expertise and co-ordinate the skills of others to achieve successful results.
  • Significant experience in managing and developing stakeholder relationships (with engineering and/or contract management experience).
  • Delivery focus and high level of resilience to deal with the continually changing demands and time-pressures of the role.
  • Good practical knowledge of IT applications / systems including SAP.
