Responsibilities:
- Implementing and maintaining all Project Controls procedures and best practices.
- Guaranteeing all projects accomplish the mandate from the Company in relation to Business Case drivers referring to the programme, CAPEX and risks.
- Setting up and managing the project controls function for complex multi-billion pound, multi-disciplinary, multi-contract projects.
- Managing a multidisciplinary and multicultural team based at different locations across the UK and Europe.
- Acting as the single point of contact for all project information shared with Corporate functions.
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Project Director on various tasks during project pre-FID and Execution phases.
- Working as part of the Project Controls department to support the development and lessons learnt process.
What you’ll be doing:
- Implementing and maintaining project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, monitoring and risk management.
- Recruiting, coordinating and managing a multi-functional and multi-national Project Controls team.
- Defining the Programme Baseline, FID Budget, Risk Register and Resource Plan Baseline.
- Ensuring control over cost, schedule, changes and appropriate risk management.
- Preparing and reviewing project reports which provide details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
- Creating and maintaining an updated Organisation Chart based on the Project Resource Plan.
What you’ll bring:
- Educated to Master Degree in Engineering or Business Management, or Degree qualified with equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Previous experience in Project Controls for Offshore Wind projects.
- Proficient in Change management and Cost Management.
- Experience in divestment processes and managing projects with several partners or joint ventures.
- Expert user of relevant Project Controls applications, including MS Office, Primavera P6 and SAP.
