What you’ll be doing
- Manage the implementation of documentation and execution of the operational control environment by the business that it is appropriate to ensure assurance, to Ofgem standards, across Domestic Sales.
- Maximise profit of sales from all new customers within agreed guidelines, ensuring full adherence to Credit Risk Policy.
- Liaise with internal departments where appropriate, to provide effective problem resolution for customer complaints.
- Implement robust business solutions, such as operational controls, aimed at delivering improvements in quality and regulatory assurance across Domestic Sales.
- Implement KPI's and 'best practise' standards across Domestic Sales, using data resources available to ensure key objective and business performance measures are achieved.
- Assist in maintaining a strong control environment ensuring that all procedures and processes in their area comply with regulatory and group policies and that documentation is kept up to date.
- Undertake all due diligence during the development of potential new partners.
- Support the partner management of Brokers through detailed analysis of key performance indicators, providing reports and information to highlight where remedial action is required to comply with internal and external regulations.
- Arrange and lead weekly operations compliance meetings with all nominated outsourced call centres.
- Listen to significant call sample from nominated outsourced call centre every week to ensure that all regulatory obligations and licence conditions are being met and to drive quality improvements from the call centre.
- Maintain reporting and controls for ongoing performance monitoring against weekly, monthly and YTD targets. Provide on a macro and individual partner level to facilitate recommendations to be made to the ASDM, B2B and Head of Sales, detailing process and performance enhancements.
What you’ll bring
- Recent sales and/or marketing experience within utility industry background.
- Proven track record in delivery of sales/products and managing partner relationships.
- Ability to communicate well face to face with customers and external partners within the non-domestic market.
- Ability to relate to customers / external partners at the appropriate level together with the ability to make decisions with confidence and clarity based on an understanding of process and guidelines.
- The ability to be a self-starter and work independently of others.
- A good level of computer literacy.
- Self-motivated and with a positive attitude to team development, sales targets, and performance management.
- Understanding of Industry and Organisational Structure.
