What you’ll be doing:
- The Senior Business Analyst is accountable for driving business improvement through deep root-cause analysis, change delivery, and performance reporting.
- Define and optimise end-to-end business processes to meet regulatory, system, and market changes.
- Lead root cause analysis and deliver practical, measurable improvement initiatives across Energy Retail.
- Monitor system and process performance post-SAP changes, ensuring benefits realisation and cost reduction.
- Analyse KPIs to proactively identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Own all analysis, insights, and recommendations related to internal and external performance.
- Document current-state processes and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
- Test change requests and incidents delivered by third-party suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers to drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong SAP Utilities expertise (CRM, IS-U; UI5).
- Advanced analytics capability (Python, Synapse SQL, Power BI).
- Proven experience delivering system improvements and IT change.
- Hands-on analytical skills, including SAP querying and data analysis.
- Strong customer focus with excellent stakeholder management.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
- End-to-end process ownership mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Utilities industry experience with a solid understanding of deregulated gas and electricity markets.
- Track record of driving continuous business, customer, and financial improvement.
Minimum criteria:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and communicate at all levels.
- Strong prioritisation skills with focus on quality and delivery.
- Previous experience delivering IT-led change.
- Proven experience proactively analysing systems to identify and implement improvements.
