Join our RIIO-ED3 Price Control team as we shape the future of energy regulation. The PMO provides strategic oversight and coordination across the ED3 programme, ensuring governance, effective project management, and timely delivery of key milestones. You will help embed project disciplines and drive operational excellence across the programme, contributing to a high-impact initiative at the heart of the UK’s energy transition.

What you’ll be doing

As a key member of the RIIO-ED3 Project Management Office (PMO), you’ll:

  • Support the delivery of the business plan through effective project coordination, governance, and assurance.
  • Maintain and update the programme milestone plan, risk and governance reports, track progress, and support workstream leads in meeting critical deadlines.
  • Identify and manage project risks, develop KPIs, and ensure robust reporting and communication frameworks.
  • Work with business leaders and external stakeholders (including Ofgem, industry partners, and internal governance bodies).
    • Prepare meeting materials and support regulatory assurance processes.
  • Contribute to high-level programme activities for a major regulatory programme shaping the UK’s energy networks.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments. You’ll need:

  • Strong project management experience with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Experience in a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) environment is ideal.
  • Solid understanding of project governance, controls, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to apply process discipline, identify risks, and support continuous improvement.
  • High IT literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Project, the full Microsoft Office suite, and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
