AI may be used to assist with tasks such as spell checking, grammar, formatting and improving the clarity of written responses. However, applicants must ensure that all information submitted is their own and accurately reflects their skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience.
Candidates should not use AI or other automated tools to complete application forms, generate substantive responses on their behalf, or create content that does not genuinely represent their own experience and abilities. Applications should be a personal and authentic expression of the candidate's qualifications, achievements and career history.
Any information provided must be truthful, accurate and capable of being discussed and evidenced during the recruitment process. AI‑generated content must not be used to fabricate, exaggerate, embellish or misrepresent experience, qualifications, responsibilities or achievements.
The use of AI to present information that is not an accurate reflection of a candidate's own experience may be regarded as dishonest and may be treated as a form of cheating within the recruitment process. Where we reasonably believe that an application contains misleading, fabricated or misrepresented information, the application may be withdrawn from consideration or, where discovered later, any offer of employment may be withdrawn in accordance with applicable law.
