What You’ll Do
As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs live safe, fulfilled, and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual care plans
- Administering medication, preparing meals, cleaning, and completing documentation
- Offering emotional and practical support
- Encouraging community inclusion by supporting access to local services and activities
- Building strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
- Supporting individuals to explore hobbies, develop new skills, and reach personal goals
