We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to help us deliver outstanding therapeutic support across our organization.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000pa

Base: Hybrid working across Leicestershire, West Midlands and Derbyshire

Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday

About the Role: As a Mental Health Lead at IBC Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, person-centred care to vulnerable adults. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure the people we support receive the therapeutic and clinical support they need to thrive. Your work will involve supporting individuals with complex care needs, promoting health and well-being, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives within their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for clients with mental health conditions.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including medication management and psychoeducation.
  • Monitor and manage risks, escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Build relationships with MDT, Social Workers, families, and core care teams to facilitate person-specific care.
  • Promote self-management and independence to the people we support.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
  • Participate in case discussions, care planning meetings, and clinical reviews.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the front-line care teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with organizational policies and professional standards.
  • Prepare reports and contribute to audits, research, and service evaluations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
  • Attend supervision sessions and team meetings regularly.
  • Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, organizational policies, and local safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification:

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with valid NMC registration.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a community setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage clinical risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for clinical documentation and reporting.
  • Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to client-centred care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a driver and willing to travel across all our services.
