Are you passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs, including physical disabilities, behaviours of concern, autism, and mental health needs? Join our growing Supported Living team and make a real difference every day.

The Role

You will provide personalised, consistent support to an individual with complex physical and neurological needs. This includes:

  • Communicating in a clear and confident manner that helps maintain routine and stability
  • Offering reassurance, structure, and calm interaction throughout the day
  • Supporting daily living tasks (medication, cooking, cleaning, personal care)
  • Providing emotional support and helping to maintain a positive, predictable routine
  • Supporting community access using taxis when required
  • Safely using a range of specialist equipment, including:
  • Hoist and sling
  • Tilt-in-space wheelchair
  • Tilt-in-space shower chair/commode
  • Rise-and-fall bed
  • Crash mats
  • Foam mattress

This individual currently uses a manual tilt-in-space wheelchair and requires full hoisting for all transfers. They also experience ongoing pain, requiring patience, understanding, and a gentle approach.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is calm, confident, and able to provide steady, supportive guidance
  • Communicates clearly and is comfortable giving direction when needed
  • Is patient and resilient when supporting behaviours of concern
  • Values structure, routine, and consistency
  • Is comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Has experience in complex care, mental health, or behaviour support (desirable but not essential)
  • Holds a full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
