Base pay range: £12.40 per hour

Shift: Days

Employment: Part‑time, 18 hours per week

Duties Include:

  • Support people with disabilities, including profound and complex needs, using person‑centred approaches to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
  • Perform medication administration, cooking, cleaning and paperwork.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Assist with accessing community facilities and participation in community groups.
  • Build robust relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Empower residents to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.

Person Specifications:

  • You must be female for this role.
  • Experience in the care industry, ICAS or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to multi‑task, with good time‑management, organisation, attention to detail and flexibility.
  • IT literate.
  • Positive ‘can‑do’ attitude and compassionate, caring, positive personality.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
  • Works well as part of a team and independently.
