Team Leader – Supported Living Cluster (Oldham, Stockport & Denton)
Full-time, 40 hours per week | £14.95 per hour

Lead Great Care. Build a Great Team. Make Every Day Count.

Are you an experienced Team Leaderwho wants to lead your own services? IBC Healthcare is growing across Greater Manchester. We’re looking for a hands‑on, people‑first Team Leader to oversee a cluster of bespoke, single-occupancy supported living services across Oldham, Stockport and Denton.

The people living in these services are adults with complex needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism. Each service is built around one person: their routines, their interests, their goals. Your job is to make sure that every day is purposeful, every member of staff is supported to do their best work, and every individual is living a fuller, more connected life.

Why This Role Matters

This is a leadership role, but it isn’t a desk job. You’ll be in the services, on shift and alongside your team. You’ll set the standard for what good care looks like, and help your staff meet it. You’ll also see the difference you make: someone trying a new activity, building confidence in the community, or reaching a goal they’ve worked towards for months.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering outstanding, person-centred care

  • Lead care delivery across your cluster, making sure every person receives safe, consistent support that reflects their care plan, preferences and goals.
  • Work shifts alongside your team, modelling the approach, values and standards you expect.
  • Make sure every service meets CQC standards and IBC’s quality benchmarks through regular spot‑checks, audits and compliance monitoring.
  • Build trusted relationships with the people you support, their families and the professionals involved in their care, including social workers, clinicians and therapists.

Creating meaningful days and real community connection

  • Make sure each person has a varied, meaningful weekly routine built around what matters to them, whether that’s hobbies, education, volunteering, work, exercise or social activity.
  • Support therapeutic input and positive approaches that help people grow in independence and confidence.
  • Help the people you support become part of their local communities in Oldham, Stockport and Denton.
  • Review activities and outcomes regularly, so support keeps moving forward rather than standing still.

Developing a strong, motivated team

  • Supervise, coach and develop support workers across multiple services through regular supervisions, observations and feedback.
  • Lead the induction, shadowing and onboarding of new team members so they feel confident from day one.
  • Spot potential in your team and help people progress, including into senior and leadership roles.
  • Manage rotas so each service has the right people with the right skills at the right time.
  • Be a visible, approachable leader who makes sound, independent decisions in the field.

Travel

You’ll travel regularly between services in Oldham, Stockport and Denton, with occasional travel to our Doncaster office for training, meetings and team development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker in adult social care, ideally supporting people with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities or autism.
  • A hands‑on leader who is equally comfortable supervising staff and supporting on shift.
  • A strong understanding of person‑centred planning, therapeutic approaches and community‑based activities.
  • Experience of coaching, supervising or mentoring staff, and real enthusiasm for helping others develop.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across several services.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
  • Ambition to keep developing and grow into more senior operational roles.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay with regular pay reviews
  • Clear career progression into senior leadership
  • Fully paid training, induction and shadowing
  • Funded diplomas at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5
  • Reward and recognition schemes
  • Blue Light Card discounts
  • Free online learning through Udemy
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • Casual dress
  • 28 days’ paid holiday (including bank holidays)
