We are seeking an experienced AI Product Owner to join a leading Pension Fund on an initial 6-month contract. This is a high-impact role responsible for defining and executing the organisation's AI strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage AI across business functions, and delivering practical AI-enabled solutions that drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, and improve member outcomes.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, technology teams, and external partners, you will establish a clear AI roadmap aligned to organisational objectives. You will translate business challenges into AI use cases, prioritise initiatives based on value and feasibility, and oversee end-to-end delivery from concept through to implementation and adoption.
The successful candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, product ownership, and hands-on AI experience. You will have a proven track record of delivering AI, machine learning, automation, or generative AI solutions within complex organisations. Previous consulting experience is essential, with the ability to engage credibly with executives, facilitate workshops, build business cases, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Experience within financial services, pensions, asset management, or regulated environments is advantageous. Strong communication, delivery management, and change leadership skills are required.
Contract: 6 months (with potential extension).
