IBA is currently looking for a motivated individual to join the Valuations Markets and Analysis Department which operates as the core business at IBA. This structured department is made up of several teams providing clients with specialist opinion and consultancy services across all sectors of our client base. We seek an Analyst to join the Commercial Aviation Valuations team.
Aviation Analysts will directly support senior analysts, business stream managers and the business unit Directors in a variety of projects including:
- Market and competitive intelligence
- Fleet selection
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Gather intelligence through open sources.
- Interrogate IBA’s databases for fleet, values and trends analysis.
- Interface with clients to gather data and present results of studies and analyses.
- Expand IBA’s familiarity with aviation industry data sources and issues.
- Support targeted business development efforts with new and existing clients.
Skills and Experience Required
The Person
- Minimum 2:1 degree in finance, engineering, operational research, data analysis, maths, aerospace or another numerical/research degree.
- Comprehension of finance fundamentals and strategic analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communicator, team player and relationship builder.
- Expert in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Superior organisational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadlines and attention to detail.
- Able to work precisely and productively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Interest in the aviation sector or passion for aviation.
- Motivated to learn and self-develop, contribute to a team effort and strive for high performance.
