An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Planning Analyst to join a leading retail distribution operation. This role is responsible for managing warehouse space planning, analysing stock capacity, and supporting operational efficiency across a busy logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage warehouse space plans, ensuring accuracy and effective stock allocation.
- Coordinate planning changes, including new product introductions, promotional activity, and discontinued lines.
- Monitor warehouse capacity and identify opportunities to improve space utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Update and maintain planning systems and databases.
- Produce reports, analysis, and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management teams to resolve capacity and planning challenges.
- Support continuous improvement projects across the distribution operation.
About You
- Previous experience in a Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Warehouse Planning Analyst, Capacity Planning Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and manipulation of large datasets.
