A thriving Retail/Hospitality business seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Head Office Team. My Client is a nationwide business that is continuing to thrive as they offer a unique experience to customers across their sites. They are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, attract and hire top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various recruitment strategies, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Liaise with Recruitment Agencies: Maintain positive relationships with the PSL whilst ensuring budgets are kept to.
- Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and manage the interview process to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to specific roles.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment metrics using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track progress and improve hiring processes.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s brand and culture through recruitment initiatives and events to attract top talent.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is useful but not essential; CIPD qualification also useful.
- Experience: Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is preferred, with a strong understanding of the hiring process and best practices. Must have experience within hospitality or retail recruitment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with ATS and other recruitment tools are essential.
Work Environment
- Involves working in my Client's busy office 4 days a week.
- Some travel may be required for job fairs and recruitment events.
