Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Carry out inspection of fire dampers in accordance with current legislation and safety standards.
  • Install access doors into ventilation systems to enable proper inspection and maintenance access.
  • Undertake installation and repair of passive fire stopping in line with legal requirements.
  • Conduct installation and repair of fire dampers, including any required ductwork modifications, in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain personal equipment and ensure stock inventories of materials are kept up to date.
  • Produce and submit accurate written reports as required.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate record-keeping of all work undertaken.
  • Effective and timely delivery of all assigned tasks to a high professional standard.
  • Upholding and enhancing the company’s reputation through excellent service and strong customer relationships.
  • Achieving department-specific and company-wide KPIs, contributing to overall business performance.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to any incidents or accidents on customer sites, ensuring swift resolution and adherence to safety protocols.
