We're currently recruiting for a number of MIG Welders to join a world-leading manufacturer, at their world class headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire (ST14 5JP) and their Cabs facility in Uttoxeter (ST145DY). These roles are long term ongoing opportunities.

Weld tests available immediately (this may involve a butt weld, multi run, fillet weld and a boss weld). You must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test prior to any offer of employment. Having your own transport is essential due to location of work.

MIG Welder key job details:
  • Day & Night shifts available
  • Rates: Days £16.67ph, Nights £23.09ph
  • Overtime available, and paid at 1.5x (£25.01ph) after 39hrs, and 2x (£33.34ph) on Sundays.
MIG Welder job duties:
  • MIG Welding of mild steel to assist with the production of construction products
  • Interpret and work from engineering / welding drawings
  • Jig work
  • Keeping your work area clean
  • Complying with health and safety regulations
MIG Welder person specification:
  • You must be a competent MIG Welder with previous working experience in engineering environments
  • Must be able to work from engineering drawings
  • Have effective English verbal, and written skills
  • Own transport is essential
  • Flexibility and willing to work shifts if the role should require (relevant shift allowances will apply should this occur).
