We are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located in Hixon, Staffordshire. These roles are long-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.
MIG Welder key job details:
- Monday to Friday 14:30 to 23:00 (noons) or 06:00 to 18:00 (4on4off days - weekends included)
- £15.80ph (noons) and £14.92ph on 12hr days
- Weekly pay
- Overtime available and paid at premium (1.2x weekdays, and 1.4x on weekends)
MIG Welder key responsibilities:
- MIG welding various materials, predominantly stainless steel
- Jig work
- Basic fabrication duties
- Bulk of work is on 1mm to 4mm, but can range up to 20mm
- Comply with health and safety regulations
MIG Welder person specification:
- Previous welding experience is essential
- Must be able to correctly set-up own welding machine for the various works required
- Good English (reading / verbal) is required
- Comfortable working on your feet in a fast paced environment
- Own transport is essential
