We are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join our client, a well-established UK leading manufacturer in their industry. This work is full time and carries long term opportunities. General Operative key job details: * 8:00am to 4:15pm, Monday to Friday * £12.21ph, weekly pay * Temp to perm * On the job training is provided General Operative job duties: * Operate production machinery (training provided) and quality check finished products * Manual handling of products (items can weigh up to 20kg – although not all of them) * Ensure items are ready for dispatch * Maintain a clean working environment * Carry out basic maintenance checks and raise any faults if found * Adhere to health and safety at all times General Operative person specification: * Ideally, you will have previous experience in an assembly, engineering, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment * Previous machine operating experience would also be desired but not essential * You must be comfortable with lifting items weighing upwards of 20kg per item * Good English levels (verbal and reading) required * Ideally you will have your own transport If you\’re interested in this General Operative role, please apply by clicking the apply now button or by contacting IAP Recruitment
