About the role:

The role is for HGV drivers to join the fleet working from Dalton, near Thirsk. The primary responsibility is to transport goods to customers, while ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding drivers' hours and working time directives. The driver will be the 'face of the Business,' upholding the company's high standards of customer service.

Our drivers primarily work daytime shifts. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates who are available for twilight shifts (late afternoon/evening) and weekend work. If you are looking for flexible hours or additional shifts outside of standard daytime schedules, please indicate your availability when applying.

About you:

  • A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license.
  • A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
