We’re looking for a skilled Trade Operative (fencing/bricklaying) who thrives on delivering high‑quality external works and finds job satisfaction in improving domestic properties. You’ll be part of a dedicated team working on social housing and property services.

Role

We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported, therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer.

Undertaking external domestic trade works predominantly; laying flagstones, erecting & maintaining fences, brick work, pointing and small areas of concrete. Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment in occupied properties. Working in a domestic environment, you enjoy working with people, whether as a team, or with the residents. Emergency call‑out will be expected, on a rota basis.

What you will bring as a Groundworker

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
  • Ideally, experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential).
  • Having a passion for making a difference to people’s homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people.
  • Driving licence, with eligibility to drive in the UK.
