Ian Williams is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our repairs and maintenance business based in Nottingham. As a Contract Manager, you will have full operational responsibility to ultimately impact and achieve 100% customer satisfaction and to exceed targeted KPI performance. You will be working across the GU postcode areas working closely with your delivery trades team, the housing client and your commercial colleagues aiming for collaborative success and performance excellence.

The Contract Manager role:
- Incentivising and motivating directly employed trade labour whilst managing subcontractors for specialist works.
- Instilling ownership and responsibility in your teams (Foreperson, Tradespersons) to support the successful delivery of response works to the expected standards, on time and to budget, while ensuring customer satisfaction and KPIs are achieved.
- Ensuring and enforcing Health and Safety measures are in place and monitored.
- Building relationships both internally with all teams and with the housing client.
What will I bring to the Contract Manager role?
- Relevant experience in managing a direct trade team from a similar industry.
- The ability to multitask, find workable solutions and manage several KPI variables.
- A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements; an SMSTS is required.
- An understanding of the impact that operations can have on cost and risk management.
- A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
