We are currently looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our successful Response business based in the Birmingham area. You will specialise in carrying out Responsive Maintenance Repairs to our customers' properties. The Multi Trade Operative role:
We're committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported; therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer. Undertaking multi trade work in occupied, residential properties to complete second fix work including joinery works, some plumbing and plastering works. Working in a domestic setting, you have the opportunity to utilise your fault finding and problem-solving capabilities. Attending reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and on occasions planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties). Working in a domestic environment, you enjoy working with people, whether as a team, or with the residents. Emergency call out will be expected, on a rota basis.
What you will bring as a Multi Trade Operative:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
- Ideally experience of working within a domestic/social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential).
- Having a passion for making a difference to people's homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people.
- Driving license, with eligibility to drive in the UK.
