What you’ll be doing
- Showcase your whisky knowledge and charisma by actively engaging travellers and converting interest into sales
- Build trusted relationships with High Net Worth and Collector clients, both inside and outside the airport
- Deliver outstanding customer service, anticipating needs and creating memorable brand experiences
- Drive sales with purpose, surpassing key performance metrics and always looking for ways to outperform
- Utilise marketing materials and promotions to identify upselling opportunities
- Lead product sampling initiatives and provide expert serve suggestions tailored to the season
- Continuously develop your expertise through training and independent research into the Ian Macleod range

- Energetic and approachable communicator with a natural ability to connect and captivate passengers through confident storytelling and product knowledge
- Real passion for our IMD product portfolio, including gin for upselling opportunities
- Highly knowledgeable and passionate about the Scotch Whisky category

Hours and Working Pattern Details
Scheduled Hours: Friday‑Monday 06:00–13:30 & Tuesday 11:30-19:00 (30 min unpaid break daily) – Shift pattern able to be reviewed
Other: Travel allowance/airport parking permit will be provided
Background checks
As this role will be based exclusively at Edinburgh Airport, the successful candidate will be subject to background checks and security clearance prior to commencing employment.
