My client is a highly successful and acquisitive business operating in a fast-paced, dynamic sector. The business continues to expand and launch new products leading to the requirement for commercial financial input and insight.

Specific areas of responsibility and influence will include:

  • Business partnering with departments including Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services to deliver financial support and insight;
  • Providing the Senior Management and Executive Management Teams with monthly analysis of financial data allowing them to understand business trends to inform decision making;
  • Leading forecasting processes including annual budget, in-year forecasts, and long-range planning;
  • Gathering and cleansing large data sets and using these to produce detailed and meaningful analysis of customers and products;
  • Driving improvements in business reporting and supporting the further implementation of group-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards;
  • Providing insight, direction, and analysis on a number of key projects across the next 12-18 months.

The role will suit a Qualified Accountant (or equivalent), with strong Excel skills and the ability to liaise closely with all disciplines and to interpret information and provide genuine commercial insight. The role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly developing business in a high-profile role and to obtain excellent exposure to senior management and decision makers. The company is operating a hybrid working model.
