Ian Farmer Associates, part of RSK Group, is expanding its Engineering team in Coventry, UK. We are looking for a full‑time, permanent Graduate Engineering Geologist to support a projected increase in workload.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
  • Trial pitting
  • Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Assistance in the preparation of factual and interpretive reports

Person Specification

  • Geology / Earth Sciences degree, or a Master’s degree in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Ability to work both within a team and individually
  • Good time keeping
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home
  • Residing within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or willingness to relocate
  • CSCS Card and First Aid training
