Ian Farmer Associates, part of RSK Group, is expanding its Engineering team in Coventry, UK. We are looking for a full‑time, permanent Graduate Engineering Geologist to support a projected increase in workload.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
- Trial pitting
- Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
- Groundwater and gas monitoring
- Assistance in the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
Person Specification
- Geology / Earth Sciences degree, or a Master’s degree in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
- Ability to work both within a team and individually
- Good time keeping
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work away from home
- Residing within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or willingness to relocate
- CSCS Card and First Aid training
