Residential Conveyancer – Premium Conveyancing
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom

Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive legal packs from the point a property is first marketed, identifying potential issues early to minimise delays at the start of the sale process.
- Manage a personal caseload of both sale and purchase files from instruction through to completion.
- Draft, review, and finalise all core conveyancing documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and related legal documentation.
- Examine mortgage offers, search results, and contract packs for purchase matters, raising enquiries where necessary.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure each transaction progresses efficiently.
- Oversee financial elements of each matter, including preparation and verification of completion statements.
- Ensure compliance with CQS, SRA, and CLA requirements, as well as solicitor account rules.
- Supervise and delegate work to a Conveyancing Assistant, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
- Carry out weekly file reviews and provide regular updates to clients and agents.
Qualifications
- Extensive previous experience as a Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, or Solicitor.
- Strong understanding of all conveyancing processes and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills, ensuring clients feel supported and informed.
- Proactive and detail-focused, able to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines.
- A commitment to outstanding client service, with a positive and solution-driven approach.
