What will you be doing as a Junior Software Engineer – (this is a hybrid role based in Newcastle upon Tyne on a 12month contract) –
You will design and build smart, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly across iamproperty systems – no extensive coding required.
From AI-powered tools to system configuration, this is your chance to get hands-on with technologies that are transforming the property industry.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and deliver low-code/no-code automation solutions using tools like Power Automate, Zapier and GPT-based assistants
- Build AI-powered tools and use prompt engineering to support operational teams
- Administer and integrate workflows across systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, and CXOne
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand problems and develop solutions
- Create documentation, testing plans, and user guides for automations
- Test and debug automation solutions to meet reliability, security and performance goals
- Monitor progress, review your own work, and collaborate with peers for quality assurance
- Stay ahead of trends in automation, AI, and software integration
What are we looking for?
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (desirable)
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms like Power Automate or Zapier
- Exposure to GPT tools and prompt engineering
- Scripting or light programming knowledge (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
- Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, CXOne, or similar (desirable)
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns
- Problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Clear communicator and team player
