What will you be doing as a Senior Paralegal?
- Take ownership of auction pack preparation, managing a pipeline of properties, review title documents, conduct searches, and flag any issues to keep property sales running smoothly and on time.
- Prepare, review, and deliver auction packs to a consistently high standard.
- Manage an individual pipeline of c.100 properties, ensuring timely completion.
- Identify title defects and other issues (adverse possession, lost deeds, name discrepancies) and escalate appropriately.
- Conduct pre-contract searches and checks, including local authority proposals, leases, easements, mortgages, flooding/subsidence risks, and other relevant factors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, CLC regulations, and anti-money laundering requirements.
- Maintain excellent client relationships, providing clear and accurate information via phone, email, and in person.
- Support and mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, keeping up-to-date with legal and regulatory changes.
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years conveyancing experience (residential & commercial)
- Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and unregistered land
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload under tight deadlines
- Target-driven, proactive, and results-focused
