We are seeking a strategic procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing for Ground Handling Services across the IAG Group. This role is responsible for executing category strategies that deliver cost savings, improve supplier performance, and drive innovation, while ensuring strong stakeholder alignment, contractual rigor, and compliance with governance and sustainability standards. The position supports global procurement coverage with a focus on cash improvement, supply base rationalization, and the adoption of e-sourcing tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process for ground handling services.
- Execute category strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings, supplier performance, and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IAG Group companies to define specifications and sourcing approaches.
- Negotiate commercial terms and draft contracts in coordination with legal teams, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support global procurement coverage across the ground handling services category, focusing on cash improvement, supply base rationalization, and e-sourcing adoption.
- Ensure all sourcing activities are aligned with IAG Transform’s governance standards and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in strategic (category) procurement, ideally within the aviation industry.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage complex sourcing projects in a matrixed organization.
- Strong contract drafting and commercial acumen, with knowledge of key clauses and risk mitigation strategies.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with e-sourcing tools and CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work in a multi-site/location environment.
