The opportunity:

In partnership with your Tech Lead, you will provide technical leadership to the team, supporting delivery of the product roadmap through efficient data pipelines, advanced processing frameworks, and reliable analytics solutions. You will take ownership of testing, data quality, and deployment processes to ensure consistent performance and reliability. You will champion engineering best practice, coding standards, and architectural principles, helping to build a maintainable, high-quality codebase that supports long-term growth. A key part of your role will be fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration. You will encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team and wider business. You will also evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and tools, ensuring our data platform remains modern, scalable, and competitive.

- Proficiency in a development language such as Python, Go, or Scala.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
