Who we are: We’re IAG Loyalty - one organisation with two ambitious, growing divisions across Loyalty and Holidays. Each has its own goals, strategy and team, but together we’re united by a shared vision to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences. Our Loyalty division is home to Avios, the global loyalty currency, enabling millions of members to collect and spend rewards across travel, retail and financial services. Our Holidays division including British Airways Holidays and Iberia Vacaciones, brings together trusted brands, connecting customers to thousands of destinations worldwide through seamless, end-to-end travel experiences. We’re on an exciting journey of growth and transformation.
The opportunity: We’re looking for a Product Manager (Travel & Leisure) to define and deliver the vision and strategy for our travel e-commerce platform across the Avios ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape the future of how over 70 million members search, book and experience travel using Avios. As we move into a new phase focused on optimisation, experimentation and the use of emerging technologies such as AI, we’re looking for someone who is excited by innovation and can bring a clear, forward-thinking vision. You’ll play a key role in embedding a culture of experimentation across the product teams — using data, testing and iteration to continuously improve performance — while also exploring how AI can enhance personalisation, decision-making and the overall customer experience at scale. You’ll lead across multiple product teams, setting direction, building alignment and enabling teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences at scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Defining and owning the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our travel and leisure platform
- Leading multiple product teams across the end-to-end booking journey, from discovery through to post-booking servicing
- Embedding a customer-first, data-led approach, grounded in research, analytics and business goals
- Driving a culture of experimentation, enabling teams to test, learn and optimise customer journeys
- Working closely with Commercial teams to deliver against key metrics such as conversion, AOV, repeat purchase and margin
- Building alignment around a shared product vision, influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
- Supporting teams to prioritise effectively, balancing business needs with product-led thinking
- Managing investment and tracking budget performance across a multi-million-pound product area
- Exploring how emerging technologies, including AI, can enhance customer experience and product effectiveness
- Leading and developing a large, high-performing team, creating clarity, focus and momentum across the function
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a product and people leader within agile, digital or e-commerce environments
- Strong track record of shaping product strategy through structured thinking, creativity and data-driven decision making
- Experience leading multiple teams and operating at scale, with the ability to bring clarity in complex environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design and Data teams
- Deep understanding of product discovery, experimentation and outcome-based prioritisation
- Experience defining success metrics (e.g. OKRs) and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance customer needs with business goals
- Comfortable operating in evolving, ambiguous environments and driving change
- Experience managing significant product investment and multi-million-pound budgets
- A forward-thinking mindset, with an interest in innovation and emerging technologies such as AI
We might not be right for you if: You only want to focus on your to-do list; we’re a small, high-performing team, we help each other to succeed. You value perfection over fast iteration and progress; IAG Loyalty moves fast, we learn and iterate as we go; our environment isn’t right for everyone. You’re looking to create but not build; this is an end-to-end role, you need to be comfortable owning your space, from ideation through to delivery and review. If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please do still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
