We’re IAG Loyalty, one organisation with two ambitious, growing divisions across Loyalty and Holidays. Each has its own goals, strategy and team, but together we’re united by a shared vision: to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences. Our Loyalty division is home to Avios, the global loyalty currency, enabling millions of members to collect and spend rewards across travel, retail and financial services. Our Holidays division, including British Airways Holidays connects customers to thousands of destinations worldwide through seamless, end to end travel experiences.

The opportunity ✨ You'll help bring British Airways Holidays to life across organic social media, creating engaging posts that inspire customers to discover new destinations, plan memorable trips and book their next holiday. You'll create social content in a category that is naturally engaging, varied and highly visual. From destinations and travel experiences to seasonal campaigns and commercial priorities, you will take ownership of assigned posts from idea through to delivery, adapting content for each channel, editing assets where needed, and helping ensure everything moves smoothly through briefing, review, and sign-off. This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day execution of social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you'll join a small, collaborative team where creativity is valued, ideas are welcomed and everyone contributes to delivering high-quality content.

You’ll have the opportunity to build on your skills across content creation, video editing, and performance optimisation. We create all of our organic social content in-house, giving you the opportunity to be hands-on throughout the content creation process, from developing posts and editing assets through to publishing content and reviewing performance. Because you'll be creating posts for a well-known travel brand, you'll need to combine creativity with strong brand governance. You'll work within established brand guidelines and approval processes, creating content that feels fresh, engaging and relevant while maintaining the quality and consistency customers expect from British Airways Holidays.

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious about social media and enjoys keeping up with trends, platform developments and standout content from both within and outside the travel industry. You'll proactively bring ideas to the team, spot opportunities to improve our content and take an interest in understanding what resonates with audiences and why.

What you’ll get up to 🌠 You’ll bring travel stories, destinations and holiday experiences to life through engaging social posts, images and video content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll create and publish social posts, from collating assets through to editing imagery and short-form video content for different platforms. You’ll take content from initial idea through to publication, helping ensure every post is on-brand, accurate and ready to engage our audiences. You’ll help turn campaign plans, seasonal moments and commercial priorities into creative social content that captures attention and encourages engagement. You’ll edit content using tools such as Edits, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop to create high-quality social-first content. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Brand, Marketing, Product & Sourcing, and British Airways to gather information, secure approvals and ensure content is ready to go live. You’ll help manage conversations with our audiences, monitoring and responding to comments and sharing valuable customer feedback with the wider business where appropriate. You’ll review content performance, identify what resonates with audiences and contribute ideas that help improve future activity. You’ll keep up to date with social media trends, platform developments and competitor activity, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration to help keep our content engaging and relevant.

What we need from you 💡 Social media & content creation You have experience creating and publishing social media posts, either in a dedicated social media role or a broader marketing position with strong social media responsibility. You're confident using tools such as Edits, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop to create and edit social content. You have experience working within an established consumer brand and understand how to create engaging content while working within brand guidelines, governance and approval processes.

Insights, creativity & curiosity You have experience reviewing social media performance and using insights to improve future content and campaigns. You're naturally curious about social media, keeping up to date with trends, platform developments, creator activity and changes in audience behaviour. You proactively bring ideas, inspiration and recommendations that help improve content performance, engagement and creative execution.

Working with governance & frameworks You're comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels, incorporating feedback and building positive working relationships. You're organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities without compromising quality. You have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy, copyright, GDPR and compliance when creating and publishing social content.
