The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The Commercial Relationship Executive is part of the IAG Loyalty Relationship team that drives the customer proposition and products with our network of financial services partners. This role is key in delivering success to our partnership, driving efficiencies and executing industry leading campaigns to time and to budget. Alongside the Commercial Relationship Manager, they act as the principal IAG Loyalty contact/ambassador and internal partner champion. This role will be working specifically with some of our biggest global co-brand partnerships such as HSBC and American Express Membership Rewards. Our Partnerships span across 14 different countries. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer loyalty.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive customer acquisition and engagement through developing and executing leading customer propositions and marketing activity.
  • Focus on areas of the partnership where largest value creation is possible, driving product improvements and marketing distribution growth.
  • Working collaboratively to develop and promote sustainable and scalable products, re-using technical or propositional solutions.
  • Play your role in the evolution of internal ‘ways of working' to improve agility and decision-making, meaning quicker delivery for our partner and customers and better value creation.
  • Identify where technology can improve the customer and partner journey to deliver efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

  • Commercially astute: Be driven by reaching commercial targets and understanding how tactical and strategic decisions are made to reach those targets.
  • Contractual knowledge such as commitments, exclusivities and other legal requirements. Experience within a commercial role is desired but not mandatory.
  • Outcome driven: Able to demonstrate, using specific examples, measurable successes and achievements relating to commercial partnerships.
  • High attention to detail to ensure successful delivery of project work.
  • Analytical thinking: Able to digest reports and customer insights. Understanding of trends, risks and customer behaviours and confidently communicate this.
  • Project management skills: Able to support product and proposition optimisations, working collaboratively with other internal teams.
  • Tech and digitally savvy: Understands how technology and automation enables growth, improves business performance and drives adoption. An interest in and some knowledge of technology is an advantage.
  • Innovative mindset: Curious about innovations in the industry, knowledgeable about the competition and can craft propositions and solutions to reflect this.
  • Proactively adapts and learns new capabilities to reflect the changing needs of our customer and our business.
