Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer- Corporate Services to join our Waterside office in London. In this strategic role, you will manage complex procurement processes, develop sourcing strategies, and drive cost-saving initiatives for our consultancy firm.
Purpose of the role
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process and implementing category strategy related to procurement of services (Indirect procurement), particularly HR Services (recruitment, trainings, contractors, healthcare).
- Work with stakeholders inside and outside Group Procurement to standardise specifications, define sourcing strategy, analyse RFP output, negotiate commercial terms, and draft contracts.
- Provide coverage to all sourcing processes globally within the category with objectives including savings, cash improvement, e-Sourcing, supply base rationalisation, risk mitigation, and ensuring contractual coverage.
Accountabilities
- Implement category plan strategy, lead end-to-end sourcing, and negotiate with suppliers on all commercial terms (including remote and in-person negotiations).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare RFP specs and structure, agree suppliers, milestones and evaluation criteria.
- Support the RFP process by providing guidelines/methodology for RFP analysis.
- Develop and manage defined communication channels with customers and stakeholders; maintain regular contact.
- Provide governance and decision-making related to external spend with the supply base.
- Lead specification simplification and alignment across all group companies.
- Draft agreements using IAG GBS templates or supplier contracts (with support from IAG GBS legal team). Strong knowledge in contract establishment and key clauses negotiation.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in end-to-end procurement within a matrix organization with emphasis on successful negotiations, contract and RFP knowledge; dynamic/pro-active profile.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to influence, align diverse views, gain consensus, and provide clarity and direction to achieve objectives.
- Ability to operate under tight deadlines with senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work in a multi-site environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, strong organization, research and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English (Spanish would be a plus but not mandatory).
